My Partner in Crime

To start off my blog I would like to introduce my partner in crime, my Singer sewing machine. It may not have all the bells and whistles but it is a great sewing machine for a beginner and best of all...it works.

Me being a bargain hunter that I am and not having any sewing experience aside from a letter pillow I made in 6th grade home economics class, thought this would be the most valuable decision. Another great thing about purchasing a sewing machine from Bonnie's Sewing Center is that within a year I can trade in my sewing machine and put the full amount of the money I paid for it towards an upgrade! My Singer has proved to be a great purchase, I absolutely love the creative freedom of sewing. I learn something new everyday. Sewing allows me to slow down from the rush of everyday life, be meticulous and enjoy simple things such as starching and ironing. To me sewing is instant gratification and encouragement at a job well done.
